Explore the Blue is a sponsorship site that I designed and programmed. TakeMeFishing.org has partnered w/ Discovery Education to build a website who’s main purpose is to provide students with various resources about boating and fishing. This site uses various jQuery libraries. For example the Slider library that’s on the homepage that cycles through images. I’m also using a jQuery Tabs plugin and a javascript component for the hide and expand.

USADA Trues Sports awards is one of the sponsorship sites that I designed and maintain for Discovery Education. Specifically, the sports web site was created to inform student athletes about the risks involved with performance enhancing drugs. This is a site refresh of an older version of the site. This site was built with CSS and ColdFusion.

iPay Technologies is a Kentucky-based company that offers an online bill pay service to various community banks around the country. I was the lead designer and programmer of this site. The client was looking for a clean site, lots of white space, and an overall web2.0 feel. We utilized video to allow current customers of the technology to tell how they incorporated the service into their business. The site is built with the WordPress CMS. I also designed and developed several email blast campaigns to kick off the site to current and potential customers.

The is a landing page I designed and programmed for Consumers Energy, a Michigan-based energy company. I designed the Green Scenes game that is connected with this page. This landing page is backed with the WordPress CMS, utilizes AJAX for the poll and offers social networking links.

This is a Flash interactive contest promotion that I designed and developed for Cintas, a service industry clothing company. The contest was created to encourage Cintas customers to match the latest service industry apparel line with their own business. The Flash-based interactive tool allows the user to mix and match different Cintas clothing styles to design their own apparel program.

This landing page was created for ServSafe, a company run by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. The landing page was created to give users a look at the upcoming textbook for the school year. I used Flash AS 2.0 to build the animation and use the pageFlipper tool to create the page turning effect. This landing page launch was also coupled with a campaign email blast and a Google ad-based campaign.

This microsite was included in the overall ConsumersEnergy.com website to promote the company’s energy conservation campaign. I designed the site using Photoshop, programmed it using CS3, HTML and DHTML. All animation was done using Flash AS 2.0.

This game was built for Consumers Energy, a Michigan-based energy company. I designed and developed “Green Scenes” using Photoshop CS4 and Flash AS 3.0. This game is part of a larger social networking effort, i.e. email blasts, landing pages, online ads and videos to promote the company’s energy conservation campaign.

This is a site I designed and developed for a group of journalists to cover the open data/open government community. It will evolve into a resource tool for journalists and mash some of the datasets provided by the federal government. I installed various APIs for Google News, Data.gov, twitter, etc. in the right rail so the news is real-time. The site was built using WordPress and utilizes AJAX for the search and comment posts.
