jQuery Mobile Site
I was the PM, designer and developer on the mobile site we created for McCormick & Schmick’s. the site utilizes Open Table’s reservation services. This site was built using the jQuery Mobile framework with HTML, CSS3 and AJAX. It’s also iPad compatible. All data is pulled from a Sitecore CMS.

Smart Phone App
This is a smart phone app that I designed for a client. It allows users to locate any “used” merchandise that’s for sale in Chicago. There’s a real need in the city for a one-stop mobile source that let’s shoppers find used clothing, sporting goods, music, etc. The app will allow users to click a button and, via the GPS module, and find a store closest to their current location.
Application User Interface
Discovery Education is the education arm of Discovery Channel. I’m currently a freelance web designer/developer at Discovery Education. I designed the user interface for this application. This application allows for students and teachers to track homework and assignments. My design is meant to reflect a student desktop that shows the user an above view like they were sitting at the desk.
Interactive Green Game
This game was built for Consumers Energy, a Michigan-based energy company. I designed and developed “Green Scenes” using Photoshop CS4 and Flash AS 3.0. This game is part of a larger social networking effort, i.e. email blasts, landing pages, online ads and videos to promote the company’s energy conservation campaign.
E-Commerce Website
Speech Nutrients is a small ecommerce website I designed. I also developed it using HTML, CSS and various jQuery libraries. I developed 3 designs for the client and ended up combining them into this end product. The client was looking for soft colors with large images and a Web 2.0 look and feel.

Durex Industries is a website I designed. I also developed using HTML, CSS and various jQuery libraries. I initially developed wireframes and a usability strategy and then developed the look and feel based on client suggestions and the usability needs of the site’s avg. user.

Education Website
Explore the Blue is a sponsorship site that I designed and programmed. TakeMeFishing.org has partnered w/ Discovery Education to build a website who’s main purpose is to provide students with various resources about boating and fishing. This site uses various jQuery libraries. For example the Slider library that’s on the homepage that cycles through images. I’m also using a jQuery Tabs plugin and a javascript component for the hide and expand.

Interactive Landing Page & Email Blast
This is a Flash interactive contest promotion that I designed and developed for Cintas, a service industry clothing company. The contest was created to encourage Cintas customers to match the latest service industry apparel line with their own business. The Flash-based interactive tool allows the user to mix and match different Cintas clothing styles to design their own apparel program. The promotion was also partnered with an email blast campaign.

Food Industry Landing Pages, Email Blast & Banner Ads
This landing page was created for ServSafe, a company run by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. The landing page was created to give users a look at the upcoming textbook for the school year. I used Flash AS 2.0 to build the animation and use the pageFlipper tool to create the page turning effect. This landing page launch was also coupled with a campaign email blast and banner ads.

Email Newsletter
At my last agency I not only designed and programmed email blasts but I also worked on a fair share of online newsletters. Cars.com was one of our clients and I designed and programmed their online newsletter, DealerADvantage. This newsletter had a subscriber base in the hundreds of thousands.
